The Southern Poverty Law Center is a leftist[1] activist[2] United Statian Organisation, founded in 1971.[3][4] In 2013, an Equal-Opportunity-Officer in the US Military revealed to the Public via Fox News anonymously – for fear of Reprisal – that the US Military was relying on the SPLC "for information on 'extremist' groups".[4] The SPLC claims to have dismantled "some of the nation's [the United States'] most violent white supremacist groups" through its Lawsuits and styles itself a Champion of the Weak and Vulnerable.[3] At the same Time, it praises those who show their "commitment to Israel".[5] The President of the SPLC, Richard Cohen, boasts that he brought "down the Confederate battle flag from the Alabama State Capitol". Richard became the President of the SPLC in 2003 and has been in the SPLC since 1986.[6] In 2014, the FBI stopped recommending the SPLC as a Resource for Information on "hate groups", something it had previously done.[7]

2017

Rally Against Political Violence

The SPLC was present at the Rally Against Political Violence on 25 June 2017 in Washington DC, tweeting out that an Attendee -- who it misidentified as a "speaker" -- said "It's time to put George Soros in a gas chamber!"[8][9] The Gaffe was noted in a "Breitbart News" Article.[9]

Unite the Right Rally

On 11 August 2017, one Day before the Unite the Right Rally, the SPLC's Stephen Lemons[10] hit[11] Baked Alaska on the Side of his Head and got pushed back by Baked's Bodyguard Antonio Foreman. Stephen then tried to justify it, saying Baked was making Fun of him when someone flipped off his Hat. Stephen formerly worked with "Phoenix New Times", which he left in April 2017 to work for the SPLC.[12]

Rachel Janik's Interview with Augustus Invictus

In August 2017, the SPLC'S Rachel Janik interviewed Augustus Invictus in Preparation[13] for a Piece for the SPLC Website (it appears to be two Pieces, actually).[14][15] Augustus agreed to the Interview because he didn't think he really had a Choice, saying that the SPLC is "dedicated to blacklisting and slandering People" and that "People stab you in the Back less when they have to see you in Person".[16] One interesting Moment in the Interview was when Rachel began lecturing Augustus, saying he had a potential double Standard in that he had been in Relationships with multiple Women who did not engage in Relationships with other Men and wondering how he could "justify it".[17] Another interesting Moment was when she asked him if he took it on Faith that the Holocaust happened.[18] He said that "it has nothing to do with Faith"[19]and that he was "still waiting to see" the Facts about it.[20] A little later that Month, she wrote a Piece for the SPLC with the Title "Holocaust denier Augustus Invictus announces another campaign for the U.S. Senate".[15]
