(Redirected from Stephen Yaxley-Lennon)

Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon[3][4] (27 November 1982, Luton, United Kingdom),[5][6] better known by the Alias Tommy Robinson, taken "from a prominent member of MIG hooligan crew",[7] is the Founder of PEGIDA UK, the former Leader[4] and Cofounder[7] of the English Defence League, which he left prior to founding PEGIDA UK,[4] a UK-Contributor to therebel.media,[8] Author of the Book "Enemy of the State"[9] and Coauthor of "Mohammed's Koran: Why Muslims Kill For Islam".[10] During a Conversation with Maajid Nawaz on LBC, he was addressed as both "Paul" and "Tommy".[11] Sometimes Stephen identifies as simply Stephen Lennon.[12][2][13] He has said: "I've used different Names because of the serious Threat against me."[14]

Background, Family and personal Life

During a BBC-Interview in 2013, Stephen said that he was born Stephen Christopher Yaxley, but changed his Name to Lennon, the Name of his adoptive Father.[3] Stephen was brought up in the Catholic Church.[15] His Mother, "a devout Catholic",[16] was an Irish Immigrant to the UK,[17] his Father English.[18] "The Telegraph" says: "He grew up with his mother, who worked in a bakery, and his adoptive father [Thomas Lennon],[19] who worked at the local Vauxhall Car Plant."[20] Stephen is proud of the Fact that Thomas "used to go all over the world doing specialist pipe fitting" for Vauxhall.[18] Stephen has described himself as "a working-Class Lad".[21]

When he was around the Age of 13 or 14, one of Stephen's second Cousins "was sexually exploited, she was Gang-raped", Stephen says: "She was actually picked up by Prostitutes, she was found naked, running from the Muslim Community. She woke up to having multiple Muslim Men, big-bearded Muslim Men, all raping her."[22][23] She was addicted to Heroin. There were Occasions when the Family would lock her up and go seek Help from Police and she would climb out the Window to go get Drugs.[24]

Stephen attended Putteridge High School and scored 11 A-Cs at the GCSE. He says he "Got an A in Maths". Imran and Kamran, who were identical Twins, were two of his best Friends at School.[18]

After leaving School at age 16,[18] Stephen began a five-Year[2] Apprenticeship in Aircraft Engineering with Brittania Airways[25] at Luton Airport.[18] After completing the Programme and qualifying in 2003, he slammed "his foot into a [off-duty] cop’s head".[2][18] The Cop had tried to intervene in a "drunk argument" between Stephen and his Girlfriend and "wanted to walk Robinson’s girlfriend home". He tackled Stephen, who started fighting him, then showed him his Badge.[2] This led to his getting sentenced to twelve Months in Prison.[26] He says that "as a result of tightened security measures after September 11, his criminal record meant he was blacklisted from working at airports."[18] Stephen has said: "I was being heated, and arguing, but I’ve never, ever, ever, ever, ever assaulted my Missus and my Wife."[2]

Stephen got married on 23 July 2011. At the Time he had three Children.[1]

Ethnicity and whether he is a Person of Faith

Stephen has said this about his biological Parents:

My Parents were from O’Connell Street in Dublin. They moved to England in the 1960s and settled in Luton. My Father had to face Racism with the Signs saying "No Blacks, no Irish". But he learned he would have to adapt to English Society. I'm proud to have Irish Heritage but I call myself English.[27]

Stephen has said that he is not Christian[28] and that he no longer attends Catholic Church-Services.[15] On 13 March 2017, Stephen tweeted to a Twitter-User who had called him racist: "I'm Jewish mate".[29] Then, on 4 July 2017, Stephen ridiculed someone on Twitter who thought he was Jewish, tweeting: "people actually think I'm a Jew . I've gone full 360 over last 8 yrs. from people thinking I hate Jews to people thinking I am a Jew".[30]

Stephen once started a Conversation with Goerge Galloway with the Greeting "Shalom".[31] On Twitter, someone once greeting him with "Salam Mr Robinson", to which he responded with "shalom".[32]

Beginnings as an Activist

BNP-Membership and first Demo

The 1 September 2004 Beslan school siege in South Russia, in which 334 People, including 186 Children, were killed, was a "Trigger" for Stephen. That Year, he joined the British National Party,[2][33] which was the only Group he knew about that was talking about Things like the Beslan Massacre,[34] and organised his first Demonstration, which he gave the Name "Ban the Luton Taliban" and during which he "spoke out" against the now-proscribed Group al-Muhajiroun.[35] Stephen says he "always gets mocked for" how he pronounces "al-Muhajiroun".[36] He pronounces it "al-Mujideen".[36][37][38][39][40][41] Al-Muhajiroun was founded by Omar Bakri Mohammed, a man who was later exiled from the UK and is now living in Lebanon.[42] After this first Demonstration of his, Stephen became a Target and "was scared".[35] After being in the BNP for one Year, he left the Party. When he had joined, he didn't know that Nick Griffin had been in the National Front and that Nonwhites couldn't join the BNP at the Time.[43] At the second BNP Meeting he attended, he had brought at least two black Friends and was told they couldn't come in, much to his Surprise, because their being Nonwhites barred them from being able to join.[44] During his June 2013 Interview with the BBC's Andrew Neil, Andrew told him: "Your Membership only came to Light once it was discovered your real Name wasn't Tommy Robinson."[45] His Name was on a leaked List of People who had at some Point been BNP Members.[46]

Founding of and Time with English Defence League

On 10 March 2009, he went to pay his Respects to a Homecoming Parade of 200 Members of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Anglian Regiment, also known as The Poachers, in Luton, during which Troops were spat on by Protesters, who held Placards that said Things like "The Butchers of Basra", "criminals, murderers, terrorists" and "baby killers".[35][47][48] It is believed that they were part of Ahle Sunnah al Jamah, "a splinter group from the banned extremist group al-Muhajiroun", "The Guardian" says.[49] Five Men, namely Jalal Ahmed, Yousaf Bashir, Ziaur Rahman, Shajjadar Choudhury and Munim Abdul, were subsequently "convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words and behaviour likely to cause harassment and distress" during their Participation in the Protests.[50] Stephen and his Cousin Kevin Carroll made the Decision that they "had to react".[35] Stephen then organised a Group called the United People of Luton and "set out to hold a demonstration in support of" British Troops.[42][35] United People of Luton then spawned into the English Defence League.[35][51] For his first 12 Months, Stephen wore a Mask, but "it was forcefully taken off" at the End of those 12 Months, he says.[52] On 8 October 2013, Stephen and Kevin left the EDL, because they felt they could "no longer keep extremist elements at bay".[53] When asked if he has changed since he left the EDL, Stephen has said he has changed, but his "Views on the Problems we face haven't changed".[54]

First EDL-related Conviction

In July 2011, Stephen was convicted for an Incident on 24 August 2010 in which he "led Luton Town supporters and chanted 'EDL till I die', as they clashed with Newport County fans in Luton".[1] This was his first EDL-related Conviction.[27]

Illegal Entry into the US

In 2013, Stephen was convicted of illegally entering the US using a Passport with the name Andrew McCallister, who was evidently a Friend of his to whom he bears "some resemblance".[55] He couldn't travel to the US because he's been convicted of possessing a Class-A-Drug.[2] He had travelled to New York to meet with EDL-Supporters there.[18] He travelled back to the UK using a legitimate Passport with the Name Paul Harris. The judge who sentenced him said: "I am going to sentence you under the name of Stephen Lennon, although I suspect that is not actually your true Name, in the Sense that it is not the Name that appears on your Passport."[55] Although he was sentenced to ten Months,[55] he was gaoled in January 2013[18] and released on 22 February 2013 with an electronic Tag.[56]

Former Tanning-Shop in Luton

Stephen used to run a Tanning-Shop in Luton, but in March 2013 he wrote in a Tweet that "Polish girls took the shop over". The new Name of the Shop was Minushka Tan.[57][58]

What he has said about what

A united Ireland

Stephen was once asked: "What do you think of a united Ireland, do you think it'll ever happen?" He responded: "No, I think so long as the People in Northern Ireland wish to remain British, then, it's British. In Fact, I was told it'll always be British."[59]

Class-Struggle

Stephen was once asked by Sam Sholli why it was that Salman Rushdie, Cristopher Hitchins, Richard Dawkins, "have criticised Islam and they haven't had the Backlash that" he has had. Stephen said: "I'm working Class."[60]

Immigration

Stephen knows "Loads of great Polish People, like, in Luton and different Nationalities."[61] Immigration from Spain, Germany, the Netherlands or Poland is fine by him, whereas "Third World Islamic Immigration" is not.[62]

Muhammad

Stephen believes Muhammad would be a Paedophile "under current British Law", because he believes he had Sex with a nine-Year-old Girl.[63] He has said this Girl, Aisha, still had a Doll when Muhammad took her as his Wife.[64]

Multiculturalism

During his Time in the English Defence League, Stephen was known as "someone who loves Multiculturalism".[65] While some People try to argue with him and tell him "forced Diversity" and Multiculturalism is problematic, he says: "I haven't had a problem with Diversity or Multiculturalism in Luton, I've had a problem with Islam."[66]

When he was on Dave Rubin's "Rubin Report" in February 2016, however, Stephen made a Statement that either appears to be at variance with the pro-multicultural stance was taking when he made the above Statements or he has defined the Word "Multiculturalism" differently at different Times. Dave asked him if some of the "Blame" for the Muslim Population not always having "integrated" in the UK could be laid on the UK, seeing that, in David's View, the United States have "done the melting Pot pretty well."[67] Stephen answered:

Yes, it can, yes. It can be on the Fault of Multiculturalists, who encouraged all these People to come here, told them that their Culture was equal to ours, told them that they can go back into their own Communities, they can live as they did in Afghanistan and Iraq and Pakistan and as soon as anyone like ourselves tries to scratch beneath the Surface and say "Well, let's see where we differ culturally, let's see where are Opinions differ," then we've been screamed down as Racists.[68]

Politics

In 2012, Stephen characterised the Front national and the British National Party as "Nazis" who "fight anything that's not white".[69] In an Interview with Paul Joseph Watson in January 2017, Stephen expressed his Support for the Front national's Leader Marine Le Pen, apparently reversing his former Position on the Front national.[70] In the same Interview, Stephen said: "We know Geert Wilders is going to get in Power."[71] On 11 May 2016, Stephen said he hadn't ever voted: "Up until the age of 25, really, when I formed the English Defence League, I didn't care about politics, I had no interest in politics -- the same as every other working Class Kid." After that he didn't vote because he felt it was a Security Risk, he explained, although he supports Parts of the Labour, Conservative and UKIP Manifestos.[72] In April 2017, he was asked[73] who he would be voting for in the snap Election on 8 July 2017.[74] He responded: "Theresa May."[73]

Race

In Sweden in 2012, Stephen said: "I don't want to big the English up too much, but the Difference between the English Race and any other Race is that we are second to none."[75] In an Interview with Sam Sholli of NoneOfTheAbove in 2015, Stephen said: "Being English is not about being white."[76] Stephen believes "that statistically, white People are the biggest Victims of Racism in the UK."[77] During an interview with Alex Jones, he said: "White Guilt is what Europe is suffering and it has been for a long Time, especially Angela Merkel. And the German Generation of today have nothing to feel guilty about."[78] Stephen's Goddaughter is black[79][80] and most of his Friends are black or of mixed Race.[80] He considers himself an "anti-Racist", because he despises "a white Muslim Extremist probably more than a black one".[81] During his Time in the English Defence League, he was known as a "Race Traitor".[65]

Religion

Stephen is for multiracial Societies and thinks Sikhs and Hindus integrate, but thinks Muslims don't,[82] whether they be white or nonwhite.[83] In his view, Sikhs are loyal and proud.[84] In an Interview on 11 May 2016, he extolled "Christian Values", in a context in which he was comparing Christian Poles with Muslims.[61] He was once asked: "What do you think of Christianity?" One of the Things he said in his response was: "I think it has some weak, cowardly Leadership in the UK."[85]

Israel

During an Interview in New York in 2012 at a meeting, Stephen wore a pin that said: "I am a Zionist."[86][87] During his Time in the English Defence League, he was known as a Zionist.[65] He has said that in the Labour Party in the UK, "it's now a Career Move if you stand out against Israel, it's now good for your Career if you are outspoken against Israel", adding that he sees this as their "way of hiding their anti-Semitism."[88] When he was in the EDL and he was going through financial Problems, he once said sarcastically: "Why won't one of these Zionist Millionaires pay my f***ing Mortgage then, if I have all of this Zionist, rich Funding?"[89] He then went on to say that if it rained, Nick Griffin would blame it on Zionism.[90] During an Interview in March 2015, Stephen asked Sam Sholli, the Interviewer: "What does 'Zionist' mean?"[91]

Qatari Money in the UK

In March 2015, Stephen said: "I think 48% of our stock market [is] owned by them [the Qataris]. Sainsbury's, part of Barclays, Westfield Shopping Centre, every port in the country."[92]

Interview after Anders-Breivik-Massacre

After the Anders-Breivik-Massacre, Stephen was asked during an Interview with the BBC if he had ever met Anders, to which he replied that he never had. He then pointed out that Anders had said in his Manifesto that "the EDL harshly condemns any and all revolutionary conservative movements that employ terror as a tool" and that the EDL had "many members and leaders with non-European background[s]", to show that Anders didn't agree with everything the EDL did.[93][i]:1435

2016

Visits Israel

In late 2016, Stephen visited Israel.[94] He says one of the things he did was spend a day at a Fatah-controlled refugee camp.[95] Ben of London, a blogger for isreallycool.com and "The Times of Israel" who made aliyah in 2009,[96] was seen travelling with him.[94] Stephen posted a tweet with a picture of him standing on an Israeli tank in the Golan Heights near the Syrian border holding a gun.[94][97]

2017

Joins therebel.media

On 9 February 2017, Stephen, made his first video for therebel.media, thus becoming a UK contributor of theirs.[98][99]

Suspended Sentence after filming ongoing Case

On 10 May 2017 at 4:32 a.m., Stephen was arrested at his Luton home for an incident of contempt of court at Canterbury Crown Court on 8 May[100] in which he filmed inside a courthouse during an ongoing rape case. Although he was told not to film inside the building, when he found out the defendents, who he described as "Muslim paedophiles", were going to be allowed to leave by a side entrance, "he began making a 'piece to camera'" and "accused the police of colluding in a cover-up". On 22[101] May, he was given a three-month gaol sentence suspended for 18 months,[102] which means if he's arrested for anything during those 18 months, he goes to gaol for three months.[103] The media was allowed to report on it on 26 May, which was when the rape trial concluded.[101]

Appearance on "Virtue of the West"-Show

On 14 March 2017, Stephen appeared on the "Virtue of the West"-Show and was interviewed by Tara McCarthy and Brittany Pettibone.[104]

Reaction to Westminster-Attack on 22 March 2017

In the wake of the 22 March 2017 Westminster attack in London, Stephen called what took place "an Islamic jihad attack" and said that "this has gone on for 1400 years, this is nothing new".[105][106] On 4 April, he called Maajid Nawaz while Maajid was on LBC. During their conversation, Maajid said to him: "[A]re you not part of the problem if you stand on the streets after the Westminster attack and say: 'Muslims have been attacking us for 1400 years'?"[107] A little later in the conversation, Stephen said: "[I]f you want to add three letters in the word Islam [Islamism] to make it sound better, I don't. I observe that that problem is coming from Scripture ... in Islam, it's coming from the commandments of Muhammad." Maajid responded: "You know I don't dispute that, Tommy, though."[108]

Interview with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid

On 20 June 2017, Stephen was interviewed by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on "Good Morning Britain". During the Interview, Piers and Tommy "clashed over Islamophobia". Piers and Susanna kicked off the conversation talking about a Tweet Stephen posted that made Reference to the Attack near Finsbury Park Mosque on 19 June, which consisted of a Van being driven into Worshippers leaving late Prayers at the Mosque.[109] In the Tweet, Stephen wrote: "The mosque where the attack happened tonight has a long history of creating terrorists & radical jihadists & promoting hate & segregation".[110]

Around the Middle of the Interview, Stephen evidently thought there was a Class-Conflict going on and asked Piers: "What's wrong, my Accent, the Way I talk, my Background?" Piers said: "Don't play the Class-Card with me."[111]

A little after this, Piers asked him: "[W]ould you have a Ban -- like Donald Trump suggested in America -- would you have a Ban on Muslims entering the country, new Muslims trying to have a Home in this Country?" Stephen answered that he would support a temporary Ban, "until we get a Grip on the Problem".[112] Stephen opined that Islam was an Idea, "like Scientology", rather than a Faith, to which Susanna responded by asking him: "Are you Islamophobic?" He responded: "There's no such Word as 'Islamophobia'."[113]

Stephen also tweeted the following Clarification in a later Tweet about his earlier Tweet: "im not justifying it,I've said many times if government or police don't sort these centres of hate they will create monsters as seen tonight".[114]

Announces he's suing Cambridgeshire-Police

On 22 June 2017, Stephen announced he was suing Cambridgeshire-Police for ejecting him from the City in August 2016. He had taken his kids to a Fair and bought them Candy-Floss, then went to a Pub to watch a Manchester United-Game with his Kids and two Friends and their four Kids.[115][116] At the time, his Daughters were 5 and 9 and his Son was 7 Years of Age.[117] One of the Policemen had said: "[B]ecause of the Lessons we've learned in the Past, we know that if certain Groups stay within the City, it causes Violence."[118] He was given a Section-35-Dispersal-Notice.[119][116]

Becomes a Shillman Fellow

On 1 August 2017, Stephen tweeted laconically: "Shillman fellow".[120] After this, his Profile at therebel.media, which formerly displayed the Words "UK Contributor" below his Name,[121] was updated to display the Words "Shillman Fellow" instead.[122]
