Activism against Spencer-Family-Presence in Whitefish

Tanya had recommended to Sherry Spencer, Alt Right-Leader Richard Spencer's Mother, to sell a Mixed-Use-Building at 22 Lupfer,[5] Whitefish, Montana, which Sherry said in December 2016 that she is the sole Owner of,[6] "donate the profits, and make a public statement." This Conversation took Place shortly after Hailgate.[7] Tanya has said she has a "problem with Richard spending time, or his mother doing business in Whitefish" and said Sherry "Could address this by selling the building, making a donation to human rights efforts, and making a statement in opposition to white supremacist ideas spread by Richard."[8] The Locals had been planning on Boycotting Sherry's Tenants' Businesses and organising a Protest[9] and Tanya claims she was trying to save Sherry and her Tenants "from a public protest and humiliation".[10]

Andrew Anglin, his Readership and the Lawsuit against him

Andrew Anglin, the Founder of "Daily Stormer", told his Readership to engage in Activism of their own and tell Tanya how they felt about her Activism, which he describes as a "Jew agenda".[11] His Readership did that, sending Emails, making Phonecalls, sending Letters and giving Online-Business-Reviews about Tanya, which the Southern Poverty Law Center calls "false online business reviews".[12] The SPLC has filed a Lawsuit on Tanya's behalf, "Tanya Gersh v. Andrew Anglin", seeking upwards of $75,000 from Andrew for alleged emotional Distress.[13] Items 204-207 of the Lawsuit, titled "Effects on Ms. Gersh", allege:

204. Ms. Gersh has experienced serious and severe emotional and physical distress as a result of Mr. Anglin’s troll storm and related activities. Since the troll storm, she feels like a completely a different person than she was before. Ms. Gersh has experienced panic attacks, goes to bed in tears nearly every night, wakes up crying nearly every morning, startles easily, feels anxiety and discomfort in crowded places, has had trouble leaving her home, and fears answering her phone.
205. Ms. Gersh’s physical appearance has changed as a result of the harassment from Mr. Anglin’s troll storm and related activities. She has rapidly gained weight and started losing her hair.
206. Ms. Gersh has sought and received medical care to relieve the symptoms of her distress. Her primary care physician has, for the first time, prescribed antidepressants, valium, and acupuncture. She has also started to going to trauma therapy twice a week.
207. Ms. Gersh has been unable to pursue her passions and hobbies. Before the attack, she went ice skating three times a week, worked out almost daily, and went skiing on weekends. Since the attack, physical pain in her shoulders and hips stemming from the extreme distress she has experienced has prevented her from doing any of these things. Ms. Gersh has developed bursitis from carrying herself differently—she has begun compulsively rounding her shoulders in a subconscious effort to defend herself from attack.[14]
